During the third quarter of 2022, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on iOS in Norway exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of Bolt: Request a Ride, Uber - Request a ride, Yango: taxi, food, delivery, Cabify, and Lyft.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a significant fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 9.7K in late June and peaking at approximately 13.1K in mid-July. However, by the end of September, downloads had decreased to about 4.5K. The app's weekly active users followed a similar declining trend, beginning at 16.8K in late June and ending the quarter at roughly 13K.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a more stable pattern in weekly downloads, averaging between 2K and 4.5K throughout the quarter. Active users for Uber showed a consistent increase, starting at 65.4K in late June and rising to nearly 89K by the end of September.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery had relatively low but steady weekly downloads, ranging from around 1K to 1.5K. The app's active user base also remained stable, fluctuating between approximately 2.6K and 3.3K throughout the quarter.

Cabify displayed a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at 246 in late June and dropping to just 71 by the end of September. The number of active users also showed a downward trend, with figures decreasing from 466 to about 308 over the same period.

Lastly, Lyft maintained a low download rate, with weekly figures oscillating between 25 and 283. The app's active users also saw a gradual decline, starting at 1.9K in late June and ending the quarter at approximately 1.2K.
